Grow from beginner to Minesweeper master
This is the most common and essential pattern in Minesweeper. When you see a straight 1-2-1 number sequence:
💡 This is a deterministic pattern — no guessing required, 100% logical deduction.
The 1-2-2-1 sequence is another classic fixed pattern:
Numbers against the board edge make deduction easier, as one side of surrounding cells is eliminated from calculation.
The most critical skill to speed up your game. When flagged mines around a number match its value, middle-click or press left+right mouse together to auto-reveal all unmarked adjacent cells.
Example: If a 3 already has 3 surrounding flags, chord the 3 to automatically reveal the remaining 5 cells.
⚡ Pro Secret: Almost all veteran players use chord constantly — flag mines and chord instantly to multiply your speed.
When some mines around a number are already flagged, subtract them to get the remaining hidden mines. For example: a 3 with 1 existing flag still has 2 hidden mines nearby.
Do not analyze numbers alone. Combine adjacent digits to reason logically. Neighboring numbers share surrounding cells; use intersection and complement relationships to unlock more clues.
When faced with unsolvable guess situations, choose cells with the lowest mine probability:
⚠️ Guessing cannot be completely avoided in Minesweeper, but probability analysis can raise your win rate above 90%.
Pro players do not count cells one by one; they recognize whole number patterns instantly. With practice, you will instantly identify mine positions and safe zones from familiar number combinations.
DMine ensures your first click is safe. Start by revealing large blank zones to create more clues for later deduction.
Handle the board in this order:
When you have to guess:
